So, she is mildly dehydrated and moopy from the heat. Vet says unless she starts coughing or expelling fluids, everything is good.

Thank you for your concern. Turns out I am a nervous doggie dad.

I flew home for Easter in 2015. I told my mom that the labradoodle was acting weird. They took her to vet and apparently her platelet count was low. They put her on some meds and she did get better. She’s still kicking at 12 now.

Great to hear she’s okay.

Better to be safe than sorry mate.

Take care.

Excellent news! So happy!

Pets cannot tell us how they feel so it pays to be extra cautious and seek a professional opinion.

My boxer started acting more or less that way in the summer, exactly two years ago. We took him to the vet and it turned out he has a heart condition. But we caught it so early that with due care and medication it won’t develop into something serious (and he’s is much better now).

I am so glad Sophie is fine.

Glad the doggo is doing good. A couple years ago I had... 4 vet visits in a row (for four different things) that the vet said “nothing to worry about, go away” and didn’t charge me. Weirdly I was mostly upset he didn’t charge me. CHARGE ME FOR MY WORRYING!
